Chrisr40
Could a kind soul please point me in the right direction for a service sheet or else some tips in opening up the locomotive below please ? It has part of its motion missing but for £20 it's a bit of a bargain to me. Runs beautifully forwards and like a coffee grinder backward. Believe it's a lilliput l706 u class. Many thanks Chris Edited April 20, 2019 by Chrisr40 Add detail
JeremyC
IIRC (at least on the Bachmann Liliput version) the tank fillers are clips which secure the chassis. They need to be gently pulled up and the body can then be removed. Edited April 21, 2019 by JeremyC
Chrisr40
Thanks Jeremy. Just checked - sadly no fixings under those so still scratching my head. Removed the small screw at the front of the keeper plate but this only appears to hold the coupling in place. RodneyS
Try unscrewing the chimney. I was given a rather battered one many years ago and that is how the body is secured on mine. Rodney

JeremyC
If you don't get a solution on here it might be worth posting your enquiry on the narrow gauge modelling forum ngrm-online. http://ngrm-online.com/forums/index.php Edited April 21, 2019 by JeremyC
