RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted April 21, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted April 21, 2019 On page 24 of John Scott Morgan's book on the Bishop's Castle Railway there is a photo of the yard at BC with several cattle wagons. They are unusual in having open upper parts to the ends similar to the sides. Does any one have any suggestions where the BRC might have purchased them? I assume that they were probably second hand. The photo is dated c 1909. Later BCR cattle wagons, bought to replace these were either ex MR or to an almost identical design, but it is the earlier ones i am interested in.
