Rob

Thanks for your kind comment.... Yes when my colleague pops round and he brings his stock as well we seem to have more loco's than rolling stock some days but at least it gives them a good run.... My problem is that I never sale anything so the fleet just gets bigger but there is always room for more providing I can sneak them in without any one noticing, mainly SWMBO ....

According to my weather app we are expecting some nice weather so hopefully a track clean then some loco movement will take place.......

In the meantime, in the garage we have this pair stabled on shed.

Andy

I did once have a N Gauge layout called "Penny Lane" , again it was based on a depot theme but one day as I was visiting Howes and I saw the Heljan O Gauge show case and that was it, within 6 months I had sold the layout to a friend and the stock on Ebay. With my new found bounty I purchased my first O Gauge loco 47583.... I haven't looked back since. Here are a few pictures of "Penny Lane" and you can find some more on my Flickr site.

Afternoon All

Today I would like you to meet my very good friend whom I usually refer to him as my guru. Well it's about time you met Ray whom I have had the pleasure of knowing for many years through work then finally through ours hobbies and without his knowledge this project would not have got off the ground....

The good thing is he purchased a loco to run on this layout now I believe he has 5 or 6.........

Ray doing a testing out session ..... look at all his boxes that he bought with him so it turned into a running session. :danced:

Well here he is again, obviously controlling the railway from an armchair, really Ray come on you don't expect me to run over to do all the coupling / uncoupling do you? Also if my memory serves me correctly SWMBO was just getting him a cup of tea & a biscuit.........

Can I still get my head through the doorway after those kind words?  :jester:

I think we support each other as there's a fair few things Jim does for me almost without being asked so I'm not the sole good bloke!

Thanks again.

BTW I've bought at least one new loco since those pictures were taken and it desperately needs to stretch its legs (and it is blue!).

Now that's a bit fruity! Just needs wants a small petroleum logo under the centre bodyside window. As bland as it was I do like a plain departmental grey 37. This is my 37156 on Russel St.

Great minds think alike..... Yes I also need to get a logo for the centre bodyside..

37156 looks good .... mind you in this colour scheme they always looked dirty within 24 hours after leaving the paint shop.
