This morning we see 20013 having left the loop line at Stumps Wood on it's way to Knowmoor to pick up next rake of wagons and to deliver them to Ayr Road Sidings. I sure that driver could do with cleaning his cab windows.....

20013 has just received the route to the sidings where it will be stabled for a while and in the background 37162 is trundling down the mainline on its way to Knowmoor.

A change from the mighty blue era to a couple of old kettle's..... First up is a 2-4-0 that Ray purchased and had rebuilt and now it run's flawlessly on every layout he takes it to.

Next up is A3 Flying Scotsman having a rare outing on the layout. This is one of 3 kettle's that I have and now Ray has several more kettle's and about 30 wagons we could actually run a steam day.

These pictures certainly show how the once flat baseboards have "moved" since we put them in.

Your right there..... But I think the camera shows it to be more than it really is....

I've had a sound decoder for it sitting in the drawer for months years. I really most do something more with it.

Mind you, it'll be green if ever it gets finished so it might not be allowed to play with the blue boys!

The sun has returned so out in the garden to check on the grass and whether it needs trimming of course.......

Well 45144 is preparing it's final run of the season prior to the ploughs being put into storage for servicing...

I know there's a risk of wintry showers this weekend but that's pushing it a bit too far I think.

Mmmmmmmm see what you have done...... the winter has returned. It was fortunate that I run them .... now they are on standby. :pleasantry:

Mind you, Sid's still got a brew on the go..... if only he knew where he put his shovel?

Well today I thought I would have a look for a signal box to fit in with Knowmoor and there is none that I want, mind you the Skytrex one will suit as I can leave it outside as its a resin cast so I thought I will start and build one....... I have done one side that has so far taken 5 hours, and that's only the brickwork...
