It is with the greatest sadness, I have to inform this forum that Paul Price of Foster Street, Widnes, sadly passed away on Wednesday last.

Paul, author of Layout topics such as "Foster Street, it's Grim Up North", Blogs "The Workbench of Doom", etc. Guaranteed to make you laugh even if he was only describing his collection of LMS Jubilee's.

Paul was a giant of a man who was very much loved by all. He worked for us for a spell but his health was not good. He inspired me to take up N Gauge modelling and he was due to come and run some of his latest kettles on my modern image layout once I had "sanitized it".

Paul was such a kind gentle man, he would do anything for anybody and asked for nothing in return.

He will forever hold a place in our hearts.

Heart broken, Barry, Gill and Tom.
