Printing background picture and track plan in Templot

Hi,

 

I am probably being a bit thick but having imported and scaled an OS map into Templot I am struggling to print both the map and the track template overlay together.

 

I'm guessing this is possible, can anyone advise how to do it?

 

I've search "printing" on this forum and not turned up anything, a similar search on the Templot forum turns up a myriad of responses but I can't see anything relevant to this question.

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.

Hi Angus,

 

Here's how to switch on the background images in the print dialog:

 

 

Only the pages with track templates will print. Add a dummy template across the whole area if it's necessary to print all of it. Set it as a "centre-line only" template to make it less obtrusive.

 

That will be at full model size. At full-size you will need a well-specified system to handle the degree of image magnification needed on the printer. Some printers will be unable to handle it.

As I thought I was being thick.

The project is a 2mm scale association Diamond Jubilee layout competition entry so only 600x240mm and fits on 4 sheets of A4 so no need to scale down!
