gordon s
Having been to the Taunton get together a few (a lot) years ago and had an enjoyable day, I may well venture west again on the train. Too far at my tender age to consider driving there and back in a day, but could jump on a train at Reading. Any idea yet what the opening hour will be? Advance booking on the train seems reasonable, so all I need to know is when to leave. I've checked my passport and it's still valid.....

RMweb Gold Stubby47 Posted February 27, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted February 27, 2020 News Update #1 I can now confirm we are invited to the Taunton MRG clubrooms on Saturday 25th April from 5pm to 7pm to view their current layouts. News Update #2 The West Somerset Railway have decided to host their Spring Steam Gala on the same weekend as our SWAG event. This will mean the carparks will be more full than usual, as will the trains, so please bear that in mind if planning a visit on the Saturday. Also, if you are attending the evening meal at the Lethbridge Arms, please get your name to 2ManySpams asap, to ensure we have enough seats. 1 1
