Splendid news......

Next year I will NOT be doing two exhibitions with two different layouts at two different locations on two consecutive days. No. Lesson learnt. Too much.

I have already advised that I will not be attending the Pontypridd show.

As such I will be travelling over on the Saturday, aiming for just after lunch.

I intend to eat, drink beer and talk utter tripe ( as per usual)

Rob.

But not necessarily in that order.

Yo dudes. The mighty(:mosking: ) Greens last home match is on the 25th so that could be the clincher for a few of us 'northeners' (that is, east and north of Brizzle) to attend? There must be trains from/to Taunton and if not the drive isn't impossible.

Maybe I'll be fit enough?

Duck.

I will be starting the Tetris-like puzzle shortly to fit all the excellent layouts and traders into the two halls for next year's event.

Hopefully, there will be one or two surprises...

One of those will be if I actually turn up!

I was thinking more along the lines of layouts, but I guess a visit from a famous loco would also be a surprise.

Is my train set still on the list, as I am still cleaning the locos wheels?

If you can give me an 8ft space, then I'll bring something along! Hopefully the new layout!

Thanks Richard, but can I get back to you on that - I think I'm at capacity already!

Likewise, Von Duck, there is a place for you to run some Southern stock on the latest incarnation of the Sheep Chronicles.............

Should I bring a 'special' locomotive (non DCC)?

P

A special small locomotive would be nice as I will have a short runaround thingy in the loop.

( Normal motive power will be Terrieresque )

All my loco's are small, however some are smaller than others and a few are bleddy miniscule.

Layouts are being confirmed, some will be travelling a fair distance (i.e. from outside SWAG area) and will possibly be their first foray to this part of the world.

There will also be several new layouts making their debut at Taunton.

Traders are also well represented this year with, hopefully, a rare treat for you.

Make a note of the date (26th April) - you won't want to miss next year's show !!

And, of course, there will be cake, and pasties.
