Odd one this but I've found posts on here today saying how good South Eastern Finecast are etc. Which made me go back to look up their web page... Which isn't there. And Google says they are closed permanently? Now I'm sure I was on their web page not so long ago and a search here didn't find any posts about them other than build thread etc. Can anyone shed some light?

I think if SE Finecast was closing, there’d have been a thread and considerable comment.  Particularly on a page like Wright Writes.  Suspect this is either a server error or they’ve omitted to renew a licence or something.  May even be a web page upgrade as it was previously a fairly basic page.

Cleared my cache and still get something about adding your own page here. I'm assuming everyone gets the same page when searching the name in Google showing them as permanently closed?

Very odd...

That's just to stop people visiting as if it's a shop.

Fair point, your post came in while I was typing (I'm a bit slow).

Maybe it's a PC vs a phone thing. I'll try the desk top in the morning.

Thanks all.

I've just looked it up on Google Maps and it's a residential property.

In other words the person who runs it's home address.

That still doesn't explain :-

I had my tuppence worth of a shop recorded by Google as permanently closed - tipped off by a couple of customers as I never bother with that sort of thing - and I had to register and alter details to reflect my opening hours. My paranoid mind says it's a ploy to catch up more in to their web, but that's perhaps another subject. Clicking on the link on FF opens it up and takes away a great deal of panic from me - without Dave's kind spares  service my bodging days would be severely curtailed....

It's working OK for me, despite Windows 10 and Firefox....

I tried on Chrome and got a pop-up window with the "Permanently closed" message, but the actual site worked as it should.
