Yes, that is a old / current style standard point, and that wire and the one linking to the V need removing as you have now done.

 

Obviously the Unifrogs are still only available on the new Set Track Points at this moment in time.

Been working on Marks garden project today made and  fitted the goods shed and measured up the engine shed...all the points have gaugemaster juicers fitted and all are working fine...

Back on Marks project today and the goods shed is finished, and the engine shed needs some modifications and finishing, also made a start on some scenery using newspaper and masking tape, also gave some locos a run...

Working on the box at the moment, l have a L-Cut one which l built a while back but was not happy with it, but l have put added some stone wall on it and it looks a lot better.

Been busy today at H&R doing the messy job of ballasting (l hate it) also all the buildings and bridges were placed into position (nothing is fixed or finished at the moment, also the back scene painting wizard (Andy Peters) has agreed to come up to paint some trees etc etc on Marks back scenes in a couple of weeks, for all the usual fees breakfast etc etc more pics of today coming up...

Thanks Mark don't know about a wizz, but l try my best, hopefully phase one of our project will be complete next week with all the buildings done, just the scenics to attend to, then when Andy has painted the back scene we can venture into the garden ?

I'll try and sort out a date, it may need to be a Saturday or Sunday though.

Yesterday I went to Hazel Grove and a crowd of us went for breakfast at Wetherspoons.

L to R; Ian, Mark and Wife Helen, Cath, (Georges BETTER half) George and Jeff / Binny.

Looks like the Bachmann Brassworks one to me, I nearly had a Green one many years ago.
