Made a start on ballasting a job I hate and in between lengths added more to the timber bridge, suggestion of a wetter area on the right hand field, added more bush etc on left hand side before lumber yard and made a start of landscaping around Stone tools. The little shed before the lumber yard hides the slide switch for the switch.

Rainy day so no garage time so built up some of the Stone yard vehicles. Ex WW2, Korean War disposal lorry and trailer that will be used to move stone around the yard. Trailer made into a flat bed and tractor unit added a flat bed.

Unexpected birthday delivery this lunchtime with back order arrival of a small crane/ grab that will work in CHIRM yard. Looks suitably early 60s vintage. Still till to come a crane with hook version that will be mounted onto ex WW1 cab and chassis ready to work in the Stone cutting yard.

A couple of back orders, one from March, has meant more progress in the Stone cutting yard. Roof can finally be completed and a dolls house stone cladding company used to create some stone loads for the yard.

Rainy day so sat applying rust and over paint with roof colour. Needs a black wash when dry to grind it together.

Changed up the kibri mobile crane to work in the timber yard. Will be fitted with a hook. Gives it more like a Coles crane of the 1950s.

The unmodified version will work in the yard.

tomorrow the last of the lockdown kits should arrive and then aim to make a truck mounted crane to work in the Stone yard.

Made a start on the war surplus crane. GMC. Lots of the real prototypes had half cabs up graded the crew to a full size cab. Trying to recreate the basic angular shape of the real example

Congratulations!

Issac has come for his first family meal since he was born last week. Mum and dad have just gone to bed to catch up with some sleep!

Rebuilt the crane Using a Ford tractor unit as the basis. Smaller combination fits better in the setting
