0 gauge sound

I want to fit sound to my Heljan class 25 anyone have a recommendation for a decoder and sound file, would be nice to have some braking via the controller the same as my SLW 24,and where to buy from? Ta mervyn....

I created the sound project for the SLW Class 24, so if you want something as similar as possible, then my Class 25 would be the ideal choice.

There are a number of options for the precise decoder model. These Heljan Class 25 models will run in most situations with one motor removed and using exactly the same decoder as fitted to the SLW Class 24, a ZIMO MX645P22 (PluX22 interface) with an adapter which make the decoder installation a 'plug and play' afair. (see earlier in Jinty's thread for details).

I can recommend Paul's class 25 sound scheme, I have it in a Bachmann class 25 that I was given, weathered by @Barry O of this parish. Out of era for Summat Colliery but I have to give it a run when no-one's looking LOL

Good advice I'm sure but the OP needs to know where to buy Paul's project. I don't think you can buy from Paul

Thanks all will be sorting it after next week ,nice info about removing a motor as well ! I will only be shunting with it so suits me perfectly !
