SATURDAY 8TH JUNE 2019

Admission  Adults: £5, Members: £3
Partners and children: Free

Very close to station served by CrossCountry Trains (Derby/Tamworth line).

Light refreshments and bar available.

As per previous years, there is limited on street parking around the Town Hall (please check carefully as some areas are pay-and-display), although there is a decent sized pay-and-display car park at the railway station, which is only a very short walk away.

Look forward to seeing you all at Burton - not long at all to go now!

Thanks Neil. I'll be out one night fixing the direction signs - if any visitors miss them, please follow the signs to the Railway Station not the Town Centre as the Town Hall is nowhere near the Town Centre !

The Station car park is shared with the Travelodge Hotel but when I last checked, they had different charges depending on where you parked so look out for the signs and different coloured lines. Some of the side streets only have restrictions Monday to Friday because of people going to the Station and travelling to work and so you may be lucky and find a space. Please respect our neighbours and don't block anyone's access.

I'll be helping Paul with EDM Models but hope that I get a chance to look around the show and perhaps join Tim at the bar ! !

Looking forward to the 7mm NGA show which has an excellent selection of layouts & traders to look forward to.

Bunny Mine happy to be invited back, remembering local gypsum mining.

Accommodation booked (didn't have to do that when I Iived in Derby), layout to be boxed for transit today, followed by frantic kit packing, then try and make just a couple more kits. The sun is shining and I'd much rather sit on Harbour Station platform with a pint of Snowdonian and watch Fairlies and Garratts come and go. Soon be lunchtime though!

This was the best 7mm NGA event I've been to at Burton, despite the wet weather in the morning. Having the 'AGM' room available meant that even more fine layouts were to be seen. Also good to meet old & new friends at this very well-organized 40th birthday show. 'Bunny Mine' enjoyed the day out.

Thanks to everyone who came to the Exhibition today - it was lovely to see you all.

What a show to end my tenure as Exhibition Coordinator on - definitely gone out with a bang!

A very well well deserved Best Layout awarded to Paul Holmes for Hulme End - stunning!

Thanks Neil, to you and all the team for such an excellent day at Burton.  It has showed what an excellent position the scale and the Association are in.

It was probably the best narrow-gauge show I've been to, and voting for the Best in Show award was very difficult!
