I started a thread for this in the 2mm finescale area a little while ago, but thought that there might be those who don't regularly frequent that area and who might possibly be interested in attending.

For those not familiar with 2mm Scale Association events, this is our annual summer event, and is open to all, not just Association members. The format is more relaxed than a 'normal' exhibition, with no barriers around the exhibits, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the exhibitors without fear of disturbing operation of the layouts.

Payment of the £5 entry fee buys you 'day membership' of the Association, so you can purchase items from the Association Central Shop (usually our products are only available mail order to paid-up members) as well as getting the chance to see some specialist traders.

Venue: Tutbury Village Hall, Monk Street, Tutbury, DE13 9NA

Date/times: Saturday 8th June 2019 - 10:30am to 4:30pm

Admission - £ 5

Layouts

Colwyn Bay Goods - Bryn Davies - North Wales goods yard in BR blue diesel days.

Glencruitten - Angus Higgins - A Caledonian Railway line serving an airship factory.

Parking at the hall itself is limited to a couple of disabled parking spaces, but there is a free public car park about 100yds away on Duke Street (DE13 9NE).

Catering - Teas and coffees will be available all day, along with sandwiches/cakes courtesy of a local caterers. There are also pubs and cafes in the town (including a fish and chip shop).

If anyone has any specific questions/requests for information, I'll do my best to answer them.

Looking forward to it - my two class 37’s are back from repair just in time.

I have also agreed with John Aldrick that I will bring a few of my mock ups (some related to the 2mm Mag article I wrote) should they be of interest...
