Available as packs of 12 for £10 painted or £7.25 unpainted. If you want to add any to your order, let us know! Were these used from the early days of the PFBs? From personal experience of chocking vehicles, the thin edge of the wedge goes under the wheel. The number of chocks used depends on the weight of the road vehicle. Chocks on empty MoD movements are carried in the accompanying VGA/ VKA; this also carries wooden packing, for use where chocks don't fit.

I honestly have no idea. There have been delays in the factory for a number of reasons (Chinese new year, covid staff shortages, backlogs of existing orders) and there were a few issues to resolve with the finish of the wagons, so they haven't left china yet. I'm expecting airfreighted amended samples to arrive imminently, and I believe they were aiming to get the rest in a container in the next week or so. There is bound to be an impact from the issues in the Suez canal, but hopefully the backlog will be reduced by the time our ship transits. 1 hour ago, Gilbert said: Were these used from the early days of the PFBs? I'm not entirely sure. Pics I've seen of loaded PFBs seem to have wooden chocks (I'm still looking) The majority of images for KFAs have these metal chocs in use, so I'd say they are good from the early 90s, but I honestly don't know if they were used earlier. Rule 1 applies! Edited March 28, 2021 by Trains4U 2 1
Trains4U
The earlier chocks appear to be wooden and are either scalene triangles: Or isosceles triangles: The Isosceles type still seem to be in use. I guess it depends on what you can get your hands on...

TRAILRAGE
After Pulling out what's left of my hair trying to get the Genesis Kits version to resemble a Warflat (work still in very slow progress)! I took the plunge and ordered 4 of these lovely looking 2 early PFB and 2 late KFA (well actually the wife paid for two of them for me Birthday and the other two I paid for) as there is no way I could get it to the standard you've achieved. Mahooooosively looking forward to these to run with my Hattons Warwells. Cheers An excited Trailrage
Tugs
Not wanting to be impatient or impertinent (or any other 'im' word) but seeing the updates for the HAAs and CDAs has also got me excited again for these - I know it would be reported if there was, but I can't help but ask: is there any update on these wagons? Can I just check about the order book - I placed a pre-order in April last year and another in April this year but I’ve not heard anything yet on either, and I’m getting a bit concerned I’m going to miss out on these. Especially as a poster above mentions they’ve paid for theirs. Can I just check my pre-order is in and you haven’t started asking for payments yet? I don’t want to be disappointed on these... thanks

Trains4U
I've had confirmation that they are at the Heathrow reception centre - so we are at the will of the customs officials, but all going well, it shouldn't be more than a few days before we get them. We have a lot of people still to contact and an enormous number of models to send out, so please be patient with us. 4 1
