cravensdmufan Posted June 18, 2019 Share Posted June 18, 2019 I have now done three older Bachmann 08s with TTS. Sound and control (CV150=1) very good indeed. Had to put decoder in cab. Cut off angled bulkhead moulding so decoder sits flat on cab floor so virtually invisible. Had to hard wire mine as the locos had no decoder sockets. Extended red, black, orange and grey wires and the speaker wires. (No lights on my early models which doesn't bother me). Original speaker sits nicely behind radiator grille. I tried a small Rail Exclusive sugar cube speaker in one loco for improved bass.
