Thanks Ryan, there's loads to do on this one, including cutting away from between the Tracks and along some of the front to put them on Embankments.

I hope you enjoy this one as well.

Thanks Al, The NEW SAW has certainly helped, and also learning how to use a tape measure is a bonus.

A tape measure?

The things you learn on RMweb.  You are definitely hi-tech Mr P.

Andy certainly puts me to shame, I started Warren Branch over twelve months ago and I’ve only laid half the track

By the time I’ve done Warren, Andy will be on his tenth layout

The main thing that is impressive is despite the speed of the builds the quality isn’t compromised :good:

No pressure ;)

Thanks Guys, all you comments are welcome and appreciated.

Toda I've done the left hand F/Yard board, and then test laid some Tracks to see what would work, I can get 6 plus the Programming Track on the left end, and 7 Tracks to the right.

I’m glad my better half doesn’t see your rapid progress otherwise she’d wonder why I’m taking so long

A good start. As with the othes, another one to follow with interest and copy some of your ideas.

Yeah, A great location with 3, YES T H R E E, Railway Lines passing through it, but this is a mere coincidence, as MY New Mills is NOT THAT New Mills, but a different New Mills.:good:

Cheers John, Yes I don't do strait Track very well, also I feel that the curve makes it look longer and more natural.

Well, you've killed two birds with one stone there, mate.

1. No dead straight track.

2. No track parallel with the baseboard edge.

A winning combination!

And, that's before we get to LL blue, railfreight grey etc, etc!

Brilliant stuff.

Cheers,

I was just about to ask what the initials for the fiddle yard sidings (on your diagram) meant.

R - red.

O - orange

A - huh? (Amber?)

D - Oh, I see!!!!

Ha, ha, ha - I've only had a couple so far - honest!
