Hi Stephen,

Just the one pack each for now but we may add more depending on demand.

Cheers!

Fran

Hi Fran

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I would like to model the Ravenscraig rake, (as in your chart/planner) but there was only one grey end wagon in a rake of twenty one wagons (1+20) Could you do extra packs like you are doing for the Arc packs with just grey and orange inner wagons in it. At the present moment you are going to do a five pack with two end wagons and three inners.

Best Regards

Stephen

Hi Stephen,

We’ll consider it, but it’s a huge run of wagons and have to be careful not to over stretch ourselves. As I said we will consider it and it would certainly be catered for in later runs too.

i think I’ll have to sell the wife & kids & all the furniture.

I tried that (not the furniture though, I am far too attached to that ;)) but the best offer was me paying somebody £300 to take them off my hands so it looks like I am stuck with the wife and kids and will have to work some (more) rest days to cover these wagons.

Well its a very good/superb choice.  All it needs now is an Accurascale Class 37 for the PTA ore tipplers, and then to cover all options inc 37/5 to 37/9's.   Gareth Bayer was involved in the work at Rail Express on the 37/5 & 37/7, so he could hit the ground running on the Type 3.......

Only trouble is, will anyone have anything left in the piggybank to afford them?

Regards,

C.

P.S.  How about 10% off deals on double/tripple headers?  X

This is how rumours start when I’m away on holiday! No 37s I’m afraid!

Cheers!

Come on Fran you have to use those English Electric bogies for something else after the Deltics!!

Back to announcement, great choice for those English GM’s to pull.

Hello Fran

Congratulations on this new announcement!

These vehicles have been steadily climbing up the ranks of wanted 'modern' wagons in the annual Wishlist Poll. They came in at 4th position of the category Freight: 1964-current in 2018.

We wish you all the best with the project.

Brian (on behalf of The Wishlist Poll Team)

+1 for the additional rake of inner wagons for the Grey & Orange iron ore consists (either now or in the future).  9-10 in a rake would look good.

With all the brilliant modern image releases recently I'm now struggle to remember what I've ordered (PFAs, Deltic, 66s) and more worryingly what I've pre-paid.  Hopefully they don't all come at once !! :o.

There would also be a problem ordering 2 packs of Grey & Orange where we'd have an extra all-grey wagon to whats needed for a prototypical rake and 2 packs coupling the outers with the Orange back to back would give the orange at the far ends and stand out like a sore thumb with the pattern of orange ends down the train.

I'd definitely like to see a pack of Grey and Orange inners

I just finished converting Bachmann HHA's into National Power JMA's when Bachmann announce HKA's, then when I finish modifying Yeoman and ARC Lima PTA's...... well this :-D

well done, they look great. I have put my lima ones on sale on ebay for funds for these :-)

Do you get a 10% discount on each additional pack or just on every second pack? As I would be interested in 1x pack of ARC outers, 1x ARC inners and 1x Yeoman inners.

Regards

Darryl

Yes, we decided this morning it’s 10% off two or more packs, will be deducted at checkout!

Cheers!

I maybe wrong, but from looking t the 100s of pictures of the ARC & Yeoman examples, all the wagons have both handbrake wheels and ladders.

regards

Darryl

You're right Darryl.

The ladder is only on one side. The handbrake wheels are on one bogie on both sides.

it may be just the wording and images because on the images they all look like they have ladders but the wording only has it on a few. and it's just the ARC inners image that is missing the handbrake wheels.

Correct, all inner wagons (with the exception of the VTG sets which have them removed) sport a ladder on one side on one end.
