FYI in case anyone doesn't get one, I just received an invoice for my ARC wagons.

Hi there,

Correct. Decorated samples have been approved with some minor changes, and will be shown in the coming days. Meanwhile production is now underway, with delivery due in September. We will show off the decorated samples in the coming days. Exciting times!

Cheers!

Hi, having received the invoice today, does that mean the outstanding balance is now due? What is the deadline?

Thanks.

Hi Clagsniffer,

Production is now getting under way so we need to firm up these orders and weed out any cancellations where possible. We dont have a huge amount of time to confirm but ideally within the next two weeks would be best. If anyone needs to discuss their order please email us direct sales@accurascale.co.uk

Cheers,

Fran

Too late my 11th order just went in.. I needed buffers and bufferstops.

its actually my 15th  order, as I missed the DRS pfa and got them from Rails, and the Castle PCAs which I had to get last minute from TMC, then theres the NRM HUOs and the Green PFAs...

I still say i’m vendor agnostic and non-biased in my purchases.

Question about the ARC wagons on the Whatley to Fareham stone. Typically formed of 17/18 wagons, but how was this formed in terms of inners and outers? I have a pack of each on pre-order and thinking about adding another to make a rake of 15. Presumably there would have been a number of inner and outers in the rake, not just two outers and 15/16 inners?

Although the JTA/JUAs had finished long before I started, if it's anything like today it'll depend on what the quarry has on hand. So long as there's an outer each end of the set, the rest can be any combo of buckeye and outer. Certain trains that split for offload need a pair of outers in the right place (Battersea I think from memory) I've never noticed any pattern to the consist of the Fareham, and it's a train I deal with most days.

As an aside, recently FLHH have started running 18 boxes to Fareham, which has meant it needs the O&K boxes which are shorter than anything newer.

Hi everyone,

After yesterdays reveal of the KUA sample, it's time for another reveal!

Over the next 9 days we were going to reveal a first look at each of our PTA/JTA/JUA decorated samples, each with an in depth series of pics so you can enjoy all the detail of each model.

First up is the British Steel blue and orange livery. Please note that there will be colour corrections to some models, as well as these being hastily assembled hand finished models, so assembly and tampo will be a lot sharper on the production variants.

Tune in tomorrow for the next one!

Cheers,

Fran

Hi everyone,

Thank you very much for your very kind comments and feedback, it is much appreciated!

Time for another tasty reveal! Today it's some lovely mendip action, as we preview our ARC PTA/JTA/JUA tipplers in their iconic mustard and grey livery!

These beauties have been particularly popular with pre-orders, and the perfect addition to your fleet for stone train workings with BR blue, railfreight, sectorisation and privatization era locos as well as the lovely ARC Class 59s, among others!

Once again, please note that the fit and finish on these will be much better on the production batches you receive and some paint shades will be tweaked.

Thanks for showing us the 1/43 scale O gauge wagons Fran.   When do you expect the 1/76 scale OO gauge ones for review?

Awesome.
