Level crossing incident at Southbourne

BBC Radio Sussex reporting today delays on the southern's west coast line due to an incident on the level crossing at Southbourne. Any idea what hit what? 

 

I doubt it was serious as the 0900 traffic news reported the line had re-opened.

At the time of the incident, there were few trains about so the one involved had clear greens and was at 'full' speed, I have been told by a guard who was caught up in the incident.

 

Apparently, it didn't take long to clear up the mess!
