The Murcia service started on the 19th December.

4 trains in each direction.

2 go via Alicante terminus and take 3h 25min which is moreorless what it takes to drive to Madrid from Murcia.

2h 50mim for the direct service.

The Murcia -Madrid direct trains now terminate in Chamartin whilst the services via Alicante stop at Atocha befor terminating in Chamartin.

Thanks very much for this Andy.

I have just selected some random February dates and get the basic return for €89 return…. 1st class was €176 both on the 14:11 from Orihuela direct and the similar time returning a couple of days later.

Dates in May were similar prices… these are on the direct services.

The new Iryo service starts in June and 1st class includes food and is €84 return, taking 2hrs 25 although you have to get to Alicante. I think we might give this a go….

Thanks again.
