RMweb Gold queensquare Posted January 17, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 17, 2020 A great show that most definitely falls into the small and delightful category, a really friendly show with great exhibits and cakes.. We will be there with Tucking Mill, aided and abetted by Laurie Griffin undergoing the next phase in his indoctrination into 2FS! Jerry 7

SDJR7F88
Driving home from Devon to get Amiens 1918 ready this evening. Hope to see you all in the morning!
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted January 31, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 31, 2020 Good luck with the show! I remember taking 'Bleakhouse Road' there quite a few years ago now. Outrageously early start from South Devon, but lots of fun once we got there. 3
Kumata
Just returned from the show, my first ever visit to a model railway exhibition. Very interesting show in a nice little venue, not too cramped at all, I shall certainly mark my calendar for next year's.

Good to meet up - super running locomotives which match the quality of paining and scenery. Jim.
SDJR7F88
Had a good day with Amiens 1918 yesterday. Managed to get around in the afternoon to do a little filming. Well done to all involved. 1st February 2020 the Sodbury Vale Model Railway Clubs annual Yate Model Railway Exhibition, held at St Mary's Church and Church Hall, Yate. This years show saw no less than 13 layout on display in various scales, including my 009 Scale WW1 Trench Railway - Amiens 1918, as well as a good selection of demos, trade and societies. Hope you enjoy!
RMweb Premium TimC Posted February 2, 2020 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted February 2, 2020 Many thanks to those who supported the show, visitors and exhibitors alike. All in all a good day but I expect there are some weary characters today amongst the club members.
RMweb Gold queensquare Posted February 2, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 2, 2020 We had an excellent day out with Tucking Mill. The layout behaved well, including a few 'not quite finished' items. We received some very nice comments and Laurie got a new hat! The club, as ever, looked after us very well, many thanks to all involved. Jerry 4 1
