Cofga
Many of the Wills structure kits use overlays on the exterior. My questions is are these overlays printed paper and embossed or are they vinyl? Also, is it possible to replace the overlay with embossed styrene sheet? I prefer the raised relief of actual styrene plastic kits and avoid printed materials. Finally, what is the basic structure of these kits? Are the walls styrene or card or what? Thank you—Larry
Zunnan
They are moulded plastic with full relief in sheets between 1.5-2.5mm thick depending on the material they represent, usually with corner reinforcing bits to strengthen the inside of joins. They build very well indeed and the relief if anything is a little heavy which helps with painting them as well. I tend to prefer to use 1mm plasticard to thicken/laminate the inside of walls and evergreen strip to reinforce joins though.
