Sticking Stuff Together

Recommended Posts

I also wanted some way of having an aircraft flying overhead. However I don't want to confine one of my planes to a diorama, So I need to come up with a way of mounting an aircraft in flight (probably a clear plastic strut coming from the backboard.

This strut could then hold any aircraft of my choosing

Here are two I finished20200311_145710.jpg.a0e6aa27ed62ae7e1941dcaeff59f76c.jpga20200314_230450.jpg.7018e47ad6f7446f05f7bd43aef28c81.jpg20200314_230445.jpg.6080d23a15ba8f78daacea4966568688.jpg

Finished the castle for my layout.

it is based upon bodiam castle and the brickwork is based on the wall that surrounds the Vatican city20200325_100640.jpg.617d577c60f9e33dd2d5ce71137d432f.jpg20200325_100423(0).jpg.26f3692014b4697c9de76f39f338ba61.jpgBodiam-castle-10My8-1197.jpg.42ae0484571ab40578cb5c781ef32657.jpg

I am going to add more brown and black to the castle with some dirt and grass on it.

it looks like a strange colour but bodiam is a very strange yellowish colour in real life. it won't be as yellow when I am finished

plus once the whole corona virus quarantine is finished I will be able to grab more scenery to blend it in

I am currently working on a loco as a fun little project.dsfghj.PNG.05287a3e58136a6b697d56896ace0a87.PNG

The engine is called Bealie and will be built on a pug chassis. This image shows a rough example of what she will look like and things may change as I continue building

This is as far as I have gotten20200608_194927.jpg.8cd03ad2d8cb72a352a707fd4537aeaa.jpg

I shall be using a different pug as I currently have one coming in the mail, alongside everything else I will need to build the loco

decided to make an 009 layout for my locos as a side project. I also intend to bring it to local model railway shows20200610_192539.jpg.a094d75dc98b9d3a53cd506143562770.jpg20200610_192829.jpg.f9b47e8d86a3d845fbb1e232d1c8c81e.jpg

not much else to say about it other than I am having quite a lot of fun whilst making it and comparing it to pictures I took on multiple railways

all of the buildings are yet to be repainted and detailed, as well as I need to put more ground details on such as flowers and weeds

printed off a loco and some rolling stock for my OO9 layout

I will be using the loco as a build aid and will therefor be modifying it to suit my needs

I also gave the loco a quick paint up just to get the colour scheme finished. the paint will be removed to allow for further modifications
