Kernow/Revolution Stobart 92 in N

Kernow Model Rail Centre have teamed up with Revolution Trains to offer the Stobart liveried Class 92.

 

 

The Revolution Class 92 is, like the well-received Pendolino, being produced by Rapido Trains, and will incorporate the same features as the standard Revolution Class 92s.

 

92 017 was painted into Stobart Rail livery in 2009 and named "Bart the Engine", being primarily intended for use on the Tesco Express intermodal service from Daventry to Mossend.  However being one of 17 Class 92s owned by DB Cargo this was not the only duties 92 017 could be seen on, other examples include working between Dollands Moor and Wembley on Channel Tunnel traffic, infrastructure workings on the East Coast Main Line in December 2011 for example, or even working a charter for Pathfinder Tours between Birmingham International and Crewe in June 2010. 

 

The model will be delivered with the main batch of Revolution Class 92s, expected to be during the 4th Quarter of 2019, although this may of course change.

Hmmm, I didn't think I needed any more 92s than I already hd on order from Revolution but I might be about to prove myself wrong!
