For those who watched Series 2 of the Great Model Railway Challenge did you spot our P4 layout Clarendon on either side of the advert breaks?

If you missed it Clarendon and Scrubbs Lane is the club featured layout at our exhibition on the 7th & 8th March 2020.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but FYI signs are in place for the full closure of the A45/A46 Stonebridge Highway nr Coventry over the weekend of the Leamington show, due to a bridge going into place at the JLR construction site.

Traffic order here:

 https://www.inyourarea.co.uk/notices/Traffic/ROAD-TRAFFIC-REGULATION-ACT-1984---SECTION-14/6eea8200-10d5-41f2-b805-3f5e52917718

I have tried to show the position of the bridge on the map, but the closure order covers the A46 from the M69/M6 j2 and will affect traffic from the north/east to Leamington.

I hope that we do not suffer with another beast from the east.

Terry.

Even nice weather can be detrimental, the last time I exhibited when the show was at Stoneleigh, the weather decided it was going to present the first warmish Spring day of the year.  You could see and hear mobile phones ringing then being silenced and put back into pockets as partners summoned their Husbands to take them to a Garden Centre...

The word on one of our local forums is that the A45 closure won't happen this weekend. I cant find any official confirmation online but the advance warning signs on the A45 Styvechale BP garage roundabout were no longer on display this morning.

Les

I got quite a number of the "what to look fors" and I hope that your tender first V2 keeps going. Glad to have seen your layout in the flesh.
