Edinburgh to London services, 1980's and 1990's

I am researching how Edinburgh to London daytime services have changed over the years for a possible article. I am looking for information on services in the 80's in the HST era and in the 90's in the electric. Alas, my copies of the GB  all line timetable for those periods were disposed of by Senior Management when we were having a clear out,  on the grounds that they were superfluous.

If anyone has copies of timetables in the 1980's and/or 1990's, I would be interested in the following from table 26:

1.how many daytime trains were there from London to Edinburgh, by which I mean not sleeper trains?

2. What were the  typical journey times?

3. Was there any pattern to the services, ie, were they regular interval?

Any help gratefully received. Many thanks.

There's an imbalance between Up and Down trains but this is accounted for by the 07:00 Leeds - Aberdeen.

I have Summer 1988, Summer 1990, Winter 1991/2 and Summer 1993.

If we go for 1991/2 (my favourite speed-wise), the service is generally hourly to Edinburgh, with a few extras - 17 trains each way.

The fastest trains are:

Northbound:

0800 The Scottish Pullman (York & Newcastle) 3h59

1000 Flying Scotsman (Peterborough, York & Newcastle) 4h08

1400 The Scottish Pullman (York & Newcastle) 3h59

1700 The Scottish Pullman (Darlington & Newcastle) 4h08

Southbound:

0630 The Scottish Pullman (Newcastle & York) 3h59

1500 The Scottish Pullman (Newcastle & York) 3h59

I can expand on that and/or give the other years as well if you'd care for them?
