Tony Davis
Hi, I’m following David Wright’s instructions building the Airfix/Dapol Cottage. He has added an outbuilding and recommends the use of Evergreen Corrugated Sheet as roofing, but he doesn’t quote a size. Would a kind soul oblige, please? Jeff Smith
Evergreen sheets come in a variety of sizes but are very uniform and plain. Have a look at the Wills SSMP219 corrugated asbestos sheets. Plenty of detail and correct for 4mm scale. RMweb Gold russ p Posted August 8, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 8, 2019 Does anyone do a double sided corrugated sheet as the will ones look good as cladding but are no good for fencing as the relief is only on one side
RMweb Gold Gilbert Posted August 8, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 8, 2019 You may need to go down the metal route. https://www.ebay.co.uk/i/292464062641?chn=ps&var=591315974299&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&itemid=591315974299_292464062641&targetid=523090981835&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=1006567&campaignid=2068028072&mkgroupid=76597108935&rlsatarget=pla-523090981835&abcId=1139106&merchantid=113122002&gclid=Cj0KCQjwkK_qBRD8ARIsAOteukBITh0vLVvdRoWKhNeQlxjTYPmUfA4F-m5atAfcBl8O-4W91mZSzDMaAk0EEALw_wcB

sharris
Standard corrugated sheets have a pitch of 3" between corrugations, so for 4mm scale look for something with a 1mm pitch.

It is quite delicate, you have to be careful cutting it across the corrugations as it crushes easily.
jonhall
Most of the Evergreen corrugated sheeting is modern box profile, I only found slaters sheets with a smooth curved profile. If you want thin sheets detailed both sides, use the Wills clear corrugated sheet painted as its only vac formed - only drawback is its a bit small sheets.
