Guest Jack Benson
Hi, I may be mistaken, but someone did ask if there was an online resource listing 1:76 buildings suitable for the SDJR. Rather than using bandwidth on RMweb, there is an update to the Child Okeford blog spread over three separate posts features images and minimum waffle covering the subject. A future update will include smaller lineside bits including signage and even buses. Hopefully, the initiative might help someone. Cheers Jb
down the sdjr
Nice. A few more that i have noticed are, 1. Bachmann or Wills kits provander store similer to the ones that used to be at Shillingstone. 2. Metcalfe foot bridge, a bit like the one at Broadstone. 3. Bachmann art deco signal box like Templecombe. 4. Dapol lattice SR signals. 5, Dart Castings range of SR concrete lineside. 6, Peco concrete platform edges like Charlton Marshall halt and others. Great Idea for a blog page Jack. Paul.
RailWest
>>>Bachmann art deco signal box like Templecombe..... I would have thought that their Midsomer Norton or Shillingstone boxes would have been more appropriate, the box at Templecombe (Upper) being somewhat peripheral to the S&DJR and certainly no use for anyone modelling prior to mid-1930s
