Lost layout - Alderholt

Over 20 years ago, this small layout graced the workshop.

Sold to Roger Merry-Price in 1999

It is based on Daggons Road on the S&DJR, the subject of the Don Brecon print that still hangs in the workshop. It was EM and never exhibited (just another SR BLT) but the buildings were rather good and the layout worked. I still have the colour slide of 76053 running in from Fordingbridge.

That's a lovely layout and the buildings are excellent.

It's often a wrench to part with something that you have put a lot of yourself into.

But when you say 'lost layout', Jack, does this mean that you now no longer know the whereabouts of the layout?

Tim,

Never heard or seen it since, all messages have gone unanswered.
