long island jack
With 59th and rust and End of the spur coming to the end of there exhibition invites, it's time to build a new one that will fit in my new car. It's going to be based on the end of a truncated branch line (ex NYC), train lengths will be four cars+cab max, but the run round only take two (lots of running around me thinks) more to follow. Here where I am so far (some of you may have seen more on FB)

What are you doing with the old ones just out of interest, keeping to play at home or recycling? Both the other layout still have a couple of exhibitions, next year, will be keeping 59th and Rust, had interest from someone stateside about buying End of the spur, when I make my mind up what i'm doing with it, did consider modifying it down to a two board layout and a single board inglenook, will wait and see. As to this layout a few more photo's, first the end of the transload building this holds 4-5 cars the spur carries on onto the fiddle yard. next all track ballasted and made a start with scenery Led strip to light the layout Buildings at each end of the layout. I'm a bit further on than these photos, being held up with life, i'll update soon.

long island jack
Not much done on the scenic side other than work on the non-rail served building and a few bushes, last week or so ,I've been underneath the layout doing all the wiring and servos for point control, glad to say all working, intense testing next, then back to the scenic work. 9 1

long island jack
It's 1966 and NYC RS1 arrives at East Jackson MI. with train EJ-1, not much traffic today in East Jackson, just a boxcar to pick up at Michigan pickle co, and a couple of boxcar to drop of at the team track on the way out of town.
