Welford Park in 1975, a very cold Captain Kernow on the left, and my Morris Minor with a useless heater. Oh, just remembered - the line had been closed by this point.

In theory, the signal would be placed between the up loop and the yard loop, but there isn’t sufficient space for the post. The main arm (taller post) is for exit from the loop to the main, taking the RH divergence, and the other arm is for continuing straight on whilst shunting.

Fanstastic pictures with all sorts of useful details: wagon loads, interior colours of open wagon, general clutter and a Vauxhall Cavalier (?)
