MartinWales
Noticed that 272 was mentioning availabilty from 23rd August. Just popped into my local WH Smiths (fortunately right opposite where I work) and they are telling me 5th September 2 2
Hroth
The little box at the bottom of the masthead of my copy of 272 claims that "MRJ No. 173 should be on sale on 22nd August 2019". Now I know issues are occasionally late, but....

RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted September 3, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 3, 2019 At least it should be out before Scaleforum then! I won't be holding me breath though. Two chances to find a copy on the 6th at either Plymouth or Reading.

If it weren't for me being exhausted at the time, I might also have remembered about my favourite vegetable being Cauliflower (seriously - it has been for as long as I can remember). Joking (and terrible puns) aside, I must admit to liking the LNWR carriage livery - so much so that I'm considering using it on a planned "freelance" 4 wheel railbus build project (in any scale, a build like this is likely to be anything but Jumbo - however, "rule 1" definitely applies ... ). Of course, whether this build ever gets completed remains to be seen - but, if it does, I suspect I'll probably have a Whale of a time building it. RMweb Premium corneliuslundie Posted September 8, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) Saw James at Expo EM North today. No MRJ. He said that he had heard that it was at the printer, so probably late next week. However, he also said that someone had mentioned the idea of a new finescale magazine. Incidentally, South Pelaw was at the show. As impressive as in MRJ. Jonathan Edited September 8, 2019 by corneliuslundie typo
