Rob.
Any idea if it's possible to buy Hose Pipes for trackside refuelling pump points- (OO Gauge) similar to the photo? Or any tips on how to 'make your own' realistic ones? Cheers!
crompton 33
You can use black lighting cable the type used in older houses . Just pull the wire from in side the cable. Do you remember the old colours of red and black. Edited August 26, 2019 by crompton 33
bazjones1711
You can use some elastic strip the stuff covered in nylon , easiest way to remove the nylon is with some sandpaper gently rubbed over the outside then you will have individual strands of elastic inside , hope that makes sense . Look in your wife's sewing basket !
shipbadger
You can buy the individual strands of elastic. I bought some a while back to simulate the electrical connections between coaches. Look for 'thonging' on Ebay. Tony Comber
dasatcopthorne
Buy a cheap pair of earphones in a Pound shop and use the single wire. Dave
Administrators Phil Parker Posted August 27, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 27, 2019 I've used thin electrical wire with the core replaced with stiff wire so it can be posed properly.
