Queensland Railways 2800 Class

Hey everyone!

I'm hoping a few of the modellers down in Australia can help out here?

I've been commissioned by a modeller from Queensland to design an HO scale QR 2800 Class Diesel-Electric locomotive - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queensland_Railways_2800_class. The customer in question has sent me over a 100 photographs of the locomotive but unfortunately not a single one is from a higher elevation that shows me the roof detail. I've trawled through Google for a couple of hours but so far the only images I've found from a higher elevation is of absolutely clean locos where the yellow paint hides all the detail in the sunlight.

So as a last resort I am reaching out to you'll in a bid to get some nice detailed images of the QR 2800 Class roof so that I can complete the project which has now been sitting around for 4 months as even my client himself cannot find and provide images of the roof.

TIA

There are three moderately 'top-down' shots on this page:

but I'm not sure they're detailed enough for your purposes.

and you might find some useful shots in this album:

One of these escaped to Western Australia, where it is known as PA 2819.

That ID might throw up some different images. Not known what modifications, if any, were made to the roof equipment on this one.

Thank you, I will check that out.

Thank you Matt,

Managed to get in touch with a driver who took survey shots of the locomotive. The design stage is almost complete also.
