Harrogate Buses run the 36 Bus to the bus stop nearest the School. It will then require a decent walk up to school. (The 36 goes on to Harrogate and some continue to Ripon)

Buses leave from Leeds Bus Station every 10 minutess on a Saturday and every 20 minutes on a Sunday with a Journey time of about 16  minutes (apart form any road delays) from the City Centre.

how to get to Grammar School at Leeds by 36 bus

It would appear that next year the bus stop will have moved to a new park and ride opposite the Grammar School entrance,

We have always made sure that there is plenty of space for visitors to see layouts and get to trade stands. The floorplan this year will be no different to our 68 other annual shows...

We have a lot of new to the exhibition circuit layouts at this years show.

A long time member Lofty (Lofty.Ian on RMWeb) has finally built a layout. In EM, Middleton Road will be a pleasure to see.

Lofty likes to scratchbuild and also heavily modify RTR wagons. Come along and see the fruits of his hard work.

Be aware that there are on going roadworks at the Harrogate Road/ outer Ring road . Normally these are suspended at weekends but this particular weekend it appears they may not be!

Always a good show, looking forward to it after watching the rugby semifinal. My first show was one in the Corn Exchange then Armley before the current home at LGS.

GSAL is the best venue we have had.

Corn Exchange, dark, cold, draughty, but in an e cellent location.

Armley large, warm but awkward to get in and out of

GSAL  airt, large, good car parking, excellent food.

Hopefully next year with the new bus park and ride located on the Harrogate Road outside of school it will be easier to get to...

Slight correction to the layout list mentioned above....the TT (3mm) layout is Masbury, not Midford. Whilst prototypical S&DJR and LMS stock will feature in the main we will be keeping a fairly relaxed mind on running rights ....so visitors from other regions and eras may appear at times ....if only to show what is available in this 'ideal' of scales !

Is there anywhere where this can be checked on Barry?  We normally come along Harrogate Rd from the city but if there's likely to be a problem another route may be better.

Where did you find that info Barry?  The website link says ongoing until 7th Nov.

Looked at another bit of the Roadworks..Doh!

But there is a diversion which is shown in Blue if you click on the route advisory pull down menu.

The joys of living in a City where the Highways all live in another City (Wakefield)!
