Langley N gauge train ferry

Hello,

 

Just wondering if anyone has built one of these. I'm thinking about building a little switching layout with the ferry as the focus.

 

Is track already set in the base or can it be added?

 

What is the clearance for rolling stock from the superstructure?

 

Is the kit relatively straight forward to build?

I presume you mean the resin and brass details kit by Artitec as sold by Langley. I have made a few of their kits and they are very nice going together well and straightforwardly. However Artitec kits are 1:160 scale rather than 1:148 British N gauge so you might want to check with them concerning clearances.
