Interesting photos pop up in the most unexpected places.

On today's "Bargain Hunt" there were some shots of GWR "door-to-door" containers allegedly being used to move radar equipment to Malvern during the war.

Get it on iPlayer if you're interested.

Didn't the opening sequences of crossroads show a DMU being dragged by a 47 that's a bit random.

It also had a MGMaestro 1600 most likely the rare S series engine model. Must have taken a while to film as they were notoriously bad starters when warm.

I'm not sure how I know this crap as I can't ever watching a whole episode of crossroads

You're correct about the Class 47 and DMMU; I sometimes caught the title sequence whilst waiting for my wife to finish work.

Probably a bit like The Archers and other soaps.

You are watching/listening to something else (probably the news in the case of Crossroads) and then you suddenly get hit by the theme tune.
