Another great weekend.

Today seemed quieter than usual, but still busy.

A big thanks to the Scouts for looking after us with food and drink.

A great relaxed family show.

Cheers

Ian

Cheers Ian,

great weekend, yes, a little down on numbers compared to last year, but not by much. The good weather on Sunday had an effect I think. That and the fizzy pop virus ;)

Look forward to the new N gauge layout next year - Arkwright was glad to sell you the starter pack :)

Ian,

Hope the kitchen will have some eggs in for the breakfast fried egg rolls. :D

Cheers!

George was most happy as following your request "a Fried egg for an extra 50p" that was added to the menu made his bacon bob special ;)

Good fun was had by all, as evidenced by Ford completely oblivious to me taking this photo, so engrossed was he in operating our layout. The gentleman punter appeared to be enjoying watching too, so I guess it was a success! :D

On a somewhat related note - this is why we build all our layouts for table height, as too often we see small kids or people in wheelchairs craning to try and see what is on display. If we have to sit hunched over to operate, then that's a small price to pay for inclusiveness - in my opinion, of course!

I think every DCC layout apart from the kiddies ones (Ian Wigglesworth and my lad's) were Powercab operated.

Nah BoT uses a Sprog3 and JMRI with Engine Driver on mobile phones.

:biggrin_mini2:

Anyway it was a good show if not a bit slower than usual especially on the Sunday.

LOL, I stand corrected ;)

We actually had a really good show financially, raised slightly more money than 2019, but yes I think the imminent Corona Virus and the fine weather that weekend did knock visitor numbers down. Think it was approx 40 less that 2019 over the weekend.
