Tallpaul69
I am just starting to look at computer control systems for my yet to be built layout. I have seen mention of a model railway computer control system called Z1. I can't find any mention of this on RM Web? Advise please as to what this is and what are its features and capabilities? What DCC control systems will it work with? I am working in 00 gauge with an NCE controller. Many thanks Paul
Dungrange
Never heard of it. Are you sure it's not a mistype of Roco's Z21 DCC Command Station, or alternatively someone's shorthand for Hornby's Zero 1 multi-train control system from back in the 1980's and effectively superseded by modern DCC? WIMorrison
If it is the Z21 system (more than likely) you will find all the details on https://www.z21.eu/en Excellent product that, whilst not the cheapest around, is bulletproof and totally reliable 1
AGR Model Store
Best DCC system on the Market Z21 - https://www.agrmodelrailwaystore.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=z21 I personally use one at home, would never think about changing it. Hitchin Junction
I think it may have referred to Hornby's "Zero One" original, proprietary, digital control system. Tim
WIMorrison
I can assure you that you don't want that (Or anything Hornby of you want true computer control)
