Hiroshima Trams

I had a few days in Hiroshima last month. One of the highlights was the famous Hiroden tram system. Busy and extensive, it incorporates a mixture of older and modern trams. Below is a small selection of the various trams in service.

Hiroshima Station tram terminal by Claude_Dreyfus, on Flickr. I rather like the track layout at Hiroshima Station terminal. These are all arrival platforms, the departure platform (single, but long enough to accommodate two trams) were behind me.

That's a big range of different prototypes all in service at the same time. Thanks for the pictures showing the track as well. Very helpful for modelling.

 

I couldn't tell if the turnouts were single or double point though. Did you happen to notice?

No, I didn't notice; however I have a fair few pictures so will take a look through them to see if anything is clearer.
