HSB
I put a couple of pictures in the 'Ramchester Chronicles' thread a few weeks ago but I thought perhaps they might also be of interest to non-7mm modellers. These are from my visit to the Brecon Mountain Railway on August 30th. The train was pulled by Baldwin 2-6-2 No.1 'Santa Teresa' which was originally built in 1897 for the Mogyana Railway in Brazil as a 2-6-0. It was then sold to the Santa Teresa Sugar Mill and converted to 2' 6" gauge. When aquired by the BMR it was in very dilapidated condition but after an extensive rebuild it was put into service in June 2019 as a 1' 11 3/4" 2-6-2. RMweb Gold Tim Hall Posted October 13, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 13, 2019 'Santa Teresa' has been out of action for at least a month now with various issues (the middle drivers had been removed for one!). Trains are being double-headed by the Arn-Jung and the Baguley diesel. They have told me that they will post on their Facebook page when it returns to service.
