LGDB'
Hello, I borrowed a lot of ideas from the nice Pickwick Yard shunting layout and I decided to build my own shunting layout: the Nowhere Land Yard. This yard was built in the middle of nowhere for some unknown reasons. The dimensions are 120cm x 25cm. Any questions and comments welcomed.
Smoking gun
Hi, With that track layout, if you ignore the lower right hand siding, you have an inglenook sidings layout and could use the puzzle rules to give you some entertainment. Just in case you havent seen it: http://www.wymann.info/ShuntingPuzzles/sw-inglenook.html Regards, Martin 2
LGDB'
Thanks. On all my layouts, only the famous rule #1 applies...

LGDB'
I need to build a backdrop, a few warehouses, factories and industrial buildings. It seems that I still have a lot of work to do !
Gordon A
You may need a second loco or add a run round loop in your design. Gordon A

In practice it will be almost unshuntable as which ever way round you add the loco it will either be the wrong way round for putting the vehicle into the other two sidings or trapped between the attached vehicle and the buffers.
