Allegheny1600
Hi All, Good news from New Jersey Transit, they have recently turned out some 'Heritage' units of their own; http://trn.trains.com/news/news-wire/2019/10/05-nj-transit-reveals-heritage-locomotives In summary; Bombardier ALP-46A No. 4636, an electric locomotive painted into a Pennsylvania Railroad type paint scheme. https://images.app.goo.gl/tpMvZbLx9NUBLuVJ6 Dual-mode Bombardier ALP-45DP No. 4519, with an Erie-Lackawanna type paint scheme. https://images.app.goo.gl/2tAfvijsKZVfeFgo7 It's a slight shame about the black lines on the above two units but that appears to be a part of the regular livery. Also included is EMD GP40PH-2 No. 4109, repainted to a version of the Central of New Jersey livery it wore when first delivered in 1968. https://images.app.goo.gl/HWN5ZH46aHQqbcMs8 Cheers, John. Allegheny1600
This has been splashed all over Facebook today, sorry I can do no more than link to it; The Chicago area rail authority, Metra has repainted F59 No.90 in C&NW livery! In my very humble opinion, this is way, way better than UPs attempt with their UP1995. Thanks, Metra, John.
