Popular Post sncf231e
100 years ago the first "crocodile" electric locomotive was delivered to the Swiss railways. This weekend an event was organised where 3 crocodile took part in a trip at the Gotthard. My brother shot some footage which I in combined in this video: Regards Fred Edited October 22, 2019 by sncf231e 18
RMweb Premium Claude_Dreyfus Posted October 22, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 22, 2019 Lovely. I was keen to go on this tour, but things got in the way unfortunately. What a fine sight (and sound) those three made! Thanks for sharing
Allegheny1600
What utterly incredible machines! Is it somehow even more impressive to think that 100 year old electric locomotives are still running today? I know several steam locos are still running that are over that age but electrics? Fascinating! Oh dear! It's not good for me to watch such videos, really bad in fact! (must keep my wallet closed!). Cheers, John.
