SteveyDee68
Cheeky ask... Has anyone got a pullout Loco Works insert from the Nov issue of the Hornby magazine they might be willing to let go of for a small consideration? Bought two magazines already and now out of stock in the local shops and need another one (or two) for my DRS Engineering layout (mentioned in the Boxfiles section) Thanks! Campaman
Could you not get your copy photocopied? When one of the first scalescenes models appeared in the magazine (the Pub) I made mine from a colour photocopy as I felt the magazine paper was a bit too glossy.
cypherman
Hi all, I have to agree with Campaman. The paper it is printed on is very flimsy, Even though you still have to stick it to card. If you can get a colour photocopy done on a heavier gauge paper it would be better.
RMweb Gold ianLMS Posted October 24, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 24, 2019 There is also a free downloadable extension for this kit on the Scalescenes website.
SteveyDee68
Thanks for the responses - good idea about a colour photocopy; will check out local places tomorrow. Hope they can colour match - in fact, I'll take the PDF of the extension along too, as the print out I did is nowhere near the same brick tones! stewartingram
Use a scanner on your PC, then print it onto A4 size sticky labels which can be used on plasticard. Hovwever, I believe this one is A3 size, so a little bit of clever copying and cutting will be needed. Stewart
