TrainzBrainz23
I found this completed kit on EBay and its a OO9 Isle Of Man Beyer-Peacock, but what is the kit it originated from? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333378806413?ul_ref=https%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F710-53481-19255-0%2F1%3Ficep_ff3%3D2%26pub%3D5574735181%26toolid%3D10001%26campid%3D5336086427%26icep_item%3D333378806413%26ipn%3Dpsmain%26icep_vectorid%3D229508%26kwid%3D902099%26mtid%3D824%26kw%3Dlg%26srcrot%3D710-53481-19255-0%26rvr_id%3D2162277933702%26rvr_ts%3D1c63915916e0a4e83907f20fffbd2f37&ul_noapp=true
Chris Williamson
The chassis looks to my dim and distant memory to be the 4-4-0 that Graham Farrish produced for their N Gauge Midland Compound. The body kit, if it is one, is reminiscent of the GEM kits, but I don't immediately recall them producing a model of the older, small boiler and small tank locos. Given the 'fit' and proportions of the body, with respect to the chassis, it has the look of something produced specific for that chassis. I suspect others here might be better informed and I suspect there's not much Mike Buttell doesn't know about IoMR related models.
sir douglas
it looks a completely scratchbuilt body
BernardTPM
The desciption says the body is resin. I'd agree it looks like the Farish Midland Compound chassis. The white nylon gear dates it to mid '80s, after the brass gears but before the black acetal ones.

RMweb Premium Neil Posted October 30, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 30, 2019 The proportions of the loco remind me more of this Norwegian Beyer Peacock 2-4-0; perhaps the resin kit is not a UK product?
brack
Resin kits for the small boiler early 240t were produced by malcolm mills a while back. Not very common, but there is a photo of one here: http://philsworkbench.blogspot.com/2018/08/?m=1
