Wimborne Railway Society is holding it’s open day with the opportunity to see what the club does and some of our layouts on display as a mini show. 

Friendly local club within 5 min walk from town centre. Please note no parking at the church but two large car parks close by, satnav locations on the poster. Follow the alley down the right side of the church to the hall behind.

Free Parking will be available in the Allenbourn Middle School, BH21 1PL, East Borough almost opposite Chapel Lane.

Hornby's new R6913 SR, 24T Diag. 1543 Goods Brake Van, 55062 - Era 3 will be delivered this afternoon and be should be on Pine Road this weekend.

A  very successful open day yesterday.

Pine Road’s relaunch  was well received with many favourable comments from the public in recognition of the builders Colin Lockyer’s modelling skill.

Looking forward now to taking Pine Road, along with the club’s Wimborne layout,  to Frome next weekend for the WAMRC’s exhibition.
