RMweb Premium Neil Posted November 1, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 1, 2019 A bit of a long shot but worth a go. In the sixties my late uncle Colin worked for BAC servicing juke boxes and those machines on stations which embossed words onto aluminium strip. My brother and I benefited from stacks of ex juke box singles in our record collection. The other stand out memory is that Colin had a Ford Anglia works van in red and white. A little bit of it appears in a photo that my mum has in an album of the time. Unfortunately there's not enough to make an accurate model as the rear from the drivers door back is missing, so I've no idea what was written on the rear panels. I've spent quite a while trawling the net but to no avail. I'd rather liker to have a reasonable model of the van on my layout to remember Colin by. Can anyone help with further information or photos? Many thanks.

RMweb Premium Neil Posted November 2, 2019 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 2, 2019 Thanks Phil, I already have a logo obtained this way but it's disposition on the van is still a bit of a mystery. In the end I may have to go with my best guess/best recollection.

tom q vaxy
you might consider joining a forum which is brand specific to the vehicle, and let the members know of the BAC interest. it's amazing what folks have tucked away in their personal archives. https://105eoc.com/vehicles/trim/van/?v=7516fd43adaa http://www.anglia-models.co.uk/van-photo-gpo03.htm?LMCL=LU6bB0
