Saving text

Hi.

 

I think I may be missing something here!!    Is there a way to save what has been typed when, for example, for whatever reason you need to take a break?  Or even if you press the wrong button?  I've been in the middle of a long post  and tried to go to another page to check something and I've lost everything I've written.  It's rather frustrating!!

 

I thought there was an automatic save feature.  Does it have to be switched on somehow?

 

Apologies if I've missed something obvious!!

There is and it should happen automatically. If you leave a topic (for whatever reason) and return to that topic and click in the text entry box it should retain what you'd previously typed in (but not submitted).

Hi Andy.

 

Thanks for that.  I thought there should be, but it wasn't working on my PC.  I tried it on my phone and my tablet and it worked like it should do.

 

So I deleted RMweb from my PC and then installed it again and, lo and behold, it's now working as it should!!!
